Primecard, also known as the Miami Herald Card, or the IGT Card, is a membership card that acts like a credit card on participating restaurants and other service businesses.
The Primecard provides its members, who are the cardholders, a discount for the services they use at the participating businesses.

How does the Primecard relate to Sudsies?
Sudsies, is a Primecard participating business. This means that a Primecard holder can use the Primecard as a form of payment for the drycleaning and laundry services at Sudsies. It is used as if it were a major credit card, yet it is processed at the Primecard charging Terminal.

Why would a guest want to use a Primecard to pay?
Primecard offers discounts for the services and or goods being paid for in the participating business.
In the case of Sudsies, Primecard offers its members a 15% discount from what they spend at Sudsies.
For Example: If the guest uses Sudsies Dry Cleaning or Laundry Services, and the total cost is of $100, when they pay with their Primecard, the total amount of $100 is being charged. However, when they pay their Primecard bill the same way they would pay any credit card bill, they will only pay $85 to Primecard.
Sudsies on the other hand, provides the Primecard company, not to the cardholder, or to the Sudsies guest, but to the Primecard company; a 40% off out of the $100 in the prior example.
Meaning, out of the $100, Sudsies will only receive a payment from the Primecard company of $60 even though the transaction was processed for $100. In return, the Primecard company will advertise the Sudsies brand on their publishings to their cardmembers and attract new potential customers to Sudsies.

What type of Sudsies services do we accept Primecard as payment?
Because Sudsies is only receiving 60% of the costs of services from the Primecard company, we are only able to accept primecard as a form of payment on the Dry-cleaning and laundry services.

Type of Services we do not accept Primecard as payment:
Tailoring or repair services
Leather Cleaning services
Wedding gown cleaning and or preservation services
Area rug cleaning Services
If a guest is using a mixture of dry cleaning or laundry services with any other service in which we do not accept primecard for, then the guest may pay the dry cleaning and laundry service with the primecard, and the other service with a major credit card or cash.

How to charge a Primecard
If the card is present, simply swipe the card on the terminal if the card is noted on the account, key-in the card number on the terminal.

How to ‘cash out’ the order from the SMRT POS system?
Once you’ve processed the Primecard payment on the Primecard terminal for the total amount due on the order enter the Transaction ID number from the Primecard receipt on the SMRT System payment window under the ‘card offline’ option to cash out the order from the POS system.

Primecard is the one providing the discount to the guest.
